What's your favorite pistol round?

My favorite is the 38 Special. It can be loaded mild to hot. Best of all, you don't have bend over and pick up your brass. The older you get, not having to police your brass becomes more important. Having said that, I own a lot of bottom feeders and enjoy shooting them. (I just don't like looking for brass and picking it up off the ground.)

No question in my mind, 44mag/spl.

Now, when I use a semi auto, make mine a 45acp 1911.

I like big slugs at various velocities, because, there's no replacement for displacement.

Add to that, 44 just goes where I point it, better than other calibers.

I shoot lots of 9mm P, 38 Special, 357 Mag and 45 ACP. Can't really say I like one or shoot one more than another.
