What's your favorite pistol round?

41 Mag for me. Being a reloader I can make it about anything I want it to be. I probably shoot more 38 specials than anything else, but the 41 calls to me!!

.22LR, .357 mag, .44 mag.

Process of elimination.

.357 mag., .44 mag.

Hmmm, could it have something to do with "mag" in the name? ;)

357 Sig in my Sig P229 and Glock 31. It functions perfectly, hits hard, has moderate recoil and it's very, very accurate.

41 Mag, followed by the .32 H&R (Hot Rodded to Ruger Only levels)...

The .38 Special must be the one. I use it and depend on it the most. Wish it was something with more pizazz but there it is.

I always thought of the .44 Special as the most appealing round to me.

357 mag and 10mm are tied in my mind. Since 357 mag is so much more popular, I guess I'll have to let that sway me to 50.000000001% to the 357.

I'm a fan of the lowly .22 Long Rifle. Ammo is cheap and plentiful. Recoil isn't a concern. I can bring home enough game with it to feed the family if need be. Also, many say it shouldn't be used as a defensive round, but the 22 has surely filled many a grave.
Second would be the 44 Magnum. Elmer Keith was a really interesting character.

10mm. No disrespect intended for my 44 mags or 357 Sigs. The 10mm is just the best compromise between the two latter. It overlaps into their territory at either end.

Me and a lot of other 357 sig shooters will back you up on that claim. It's a sweetheart and powerful too.

.44 Mag, no question about it. I will agree that the .357 Mag is a great cartridge in its own right.

.44 special. I will admit that I probley shot more 38/.357s though, but I had to carry them at work for 35 years and qualify regularly with them. But when left to my own choices, its the .44 special.

Gotta be the .357 mag. I have a truck and a half load of them.I even like it's little brother the .38 sp.
