Remington Model 550-1 from 1952. Shoots and cycles short, long and long rifle ammunition reliably. Using CCI CB shorts it is quieter than most pellet rifles.
Thompson Center Classic 22. I was sorry to see it discontinued and mad at myself for not buying more magazines for it. My Charter Arms AR-7 is second for sentimental reasons.
That's a easy one to answer. My Browning .22 take down, Belgium manufactured in the early 1960s. I saved up a bunch of money I made snow shoveling and bought that beauty when I was age 16.
I have a Chinese copy of the Browning take down rifle. I wish it was a real Browning, but still love the design. When I had the barrel threaded for a can the same company did something to the bore which made this little rifle a serious tack-driver. Another clever, handy, and timeless design from Mr. Browning, even if it was made in the East.
