What's your favorite spring flower?

Normally I would say the bluebonnet, but with the drought we're having I'd settle for any flowers at all this year. I did see a small patch of bluebonnets, but it doesn't look like a good wildflower year.
 
Chuparosa --- itself colorful, and attracts even more colorful hummingbirds.

Tulips, but you have to go to Holland to REALLY see them!

Mexican Poppy (Eschscholtzia mexicana) Type: Annual Where to Grow it: All regions. Bloom time and height: Spring/Summer 6-12" in. Sun/Shade: sun or partial shade How to Grow it: Early Spring or late Fall in cold climates, Fall in mild climates. Prepare moist soil, cover seed to 1/8" depth, moisten lightly until rains fall. Etc: This stunning annual's blossoms open with the morning sun and close when dusk falls blanketing the countryside with deep orange and bright yellow hues. A close relative of the California Poppy (Eschscholtzia californica), the Mexican Poppy adapted to the hotter, drier conditions of Arizona about 8,000 years ago.
