A nice Heirloom tomato when available. Tomato and mayo sandwich is a big deal in a lot of the Southern States. Amazing how something so simple can be so satisfying.

When I was in the Army guys would core out a watermelon and stick a bottle of vodka in it and put it in the fridge for a couple of days to infuse.

You should try it without the bottle sometime. Might be even better!

Well if I have to eat a sandwich on a HOT day and I don't have to do the cooking, I really enjoy a toasted BLT with extra mayo and fresh ground pepper, outside in the shade or inside with the A/C.

If I do Vodka it is with Clamato while soaking a stick of celery and maybe a large stuffed green olive with a shot of hot sauce and Wort. and all the other goodies that helps it go down...........

or Tito's chilled with a lemon twist if I want to really unravel.

Weather don't mater. I'm always wanting that. But I control my self, I have a Duncan Hines 6" easy cake for when I feel the need.

What I want to make is Key Lime Pie but my tree dropped most of the fruit.
