I regret selling my Colt detective for $275 and trading my Mark III 45acp. In my youth I got to shoot one of my Grandpa's TWO 1928 Thompsons. Mostly semi, but a few short bursts of full auto. Time period, late 60s. He bought which once was an operating cattle ranch (the place looked like Bonanza but bigger) and they were found in a cedar chest in the bunk house 10 years after he bought the place. He told me "son, you can have one of these when you get older". Well, my Uncle got to them first after he passed.
