whats your latest brand new revolver purchase?

About a month ago I found a never fired 337ti from a gun collectors estate with inner & outer box no ILS. I guess I have ruined its value now that I have shot it & sometimes carry it. O well. If I found a 66 3inch in the same condition I would do the same to it. Is something wrong with me?

6 months ago I picked up a 686+ 4" for a pt job I'm working. I shoot it better than my 627 pro series. I love it nothing but magnum loads thru it, feels great. I did put some old square butt grips on it because they fit my hand the best

LOL - My last "brand new" S&W purchase was so long ago, and buried under so many "used" S&W purchases that I can't imagine what it was. Sorry, I can't play along on this one.

Dave

First of March 2014 bought a brand new 627 Pro Series, first of May 2014 brand new 627 2.6" Performance Center. Before that brand new 500 Magnum at dealer cost when they were first shipped at my cousins gunshop-not sure what the date was but do remember it was only the seconed one in the county at the time and it remains NIB.

I picked up a new 69 a month ago. I've put 500 rounds through it and couldn't be happier with its performance.

It's been awhile for "new" Smith's. But I believe the last new one I picked up was in the summer of 2011-It was a 617-6 6" since I baby my 617 do dash safe queens. :D Now if we go with the latest Smith picked up, it would be a 610 no dash, 6.5" LNIB  I was looking at the 986 or 929 9mm's if I ever do go the new Smith route. By the way, anyone have either of these? If so, what do you think?

Does a 67-1 that was basically new from a pvt collection count?

I'm the proud owner of a new Model 69...

First new S&W I've bought in 8 years. Couldn't be happier.

How's she shoot?

couple years back we bought a 642 dash 2 for my wife. she didn't like it because of the recoil so now its my CCW pistol.

2 1/2" 686

The last revolver was one I had on lay-a-way and finally picked up - it is a S&W 686 with a 2 1/2" barrel. Shoots well. Transitions well from target to target. Not too heavy but has enough heft to help control recoil. Rides in a Galco Combat Master holster, so it carries well. Needs some rounds put through it to help smooth it up some. Like all new S&W's, it is a little rough and has a real heavy trigger. However, I know what it'll be like after it has been used for a while. I'll be happy with it.

Ruger 2.5" stainless Alaskan, .44 magnum. Beautiful 45 oz hunk of stainless steel.

Colt Detective Special in 1972 when they were talking about banning short barreled revolvers. I like the classics and think that the older guns were much better made than what they are turning out now. Also, I'm not so much into the plastic guns of today.

FACTORY BRAND NEW?

1985, Ruger redhawk in 357 5 1/2" bbl, 1986 2- Ruger sp 1o1's 2 1/2 & 3 " hammerless's. 2005 S&W 6" 617. There's really not much I wouldn't prefer an older mdl, MAYBE a Freedom arms.

Found a 640-3 at my lgs a couple of weeks ago, for what seemed like a pretty good price. Wasn't looking to buy, but simply had to take it home... :D
