What's your most accurate Revolver?

My most accurate is my Model 627-0 .357 magnum Model of 1989, but my Model 657-2 6½" .41 Magnum Classic Hunter is right up there, as is my Model 686 6" Classic Hunter. If I cheat and use .38 special match wadcutters, my 627 has the edge. I do need to work on my photography though.

I can't really say which is the most accurate in a technical sense, as I've never shot any of them from a bench, but my 1951 22 Combat Masterpiece just flat hits stuff. I've got 2 K22 Masterpieces, but when something absolutely, positively has to have a hole in it, give me the 22 CM.

It'd be interesting to shoot 'em off a bench rest with a variety of ammo, but they all three like the rare and elusive Federal bulk pack well enough.

Believe it or not, my M19 with a 2 1/2" barrel is just as accurate for me as my M10 with a 4" bull barrel. I know, crazy, right? They are both tack drivers and I can't get enough of 'em.

My 2 most accurate: S&W 25 in .45 ACP and my Ruger Single Action .22 , 7 1/2 " revolver. I have a pre 17 S&W and a S&W 18 and a Colt Huntsman, but the Ruger is the most accurate .22

Yep, agree with that only I changed mine over to a m64 with full hammer for single action. A real winner with 158gr SWCHP! I love it!!! jb

A have a 4" m 28 and 6" 27-2 that shoot <2" @ 50 yds.
I can do no better than that with iron sights and 60 yr. old eyes...

A 17-3 I just picked up is crazy, and my beater 6" 28-2 that's loose and ugly.

Standing at the range, with no rest, it's my K-22 M17-4. I've had friends ask, "Why don't you just shoot that gun all the time?"

As of now, it's the 610. Not only accurate but it points naturally for me. My go to gun for bowling pins.


A recently acquired 19-3 (6") has shown potential but I need more time with it.

For longer range, the Super Blackhawk Hunter is my best with either a red dot or scope.
