What's Your Ride?

My 1991 K75/S. I bought it in August '91 after I came back from Desert Storm (in Texas), but it's spent most of it's life in Germany. I've had it for 22 years, it's like an old friend.

The K75 is one of the finest Beemers ever produced. Nice one you've got there.

2004 Vette, ARH and X-Pipe, Magna Flow exhaust and CAI all with a Dyno test. We took a 1282 mile round trip to Big Bend Nat'l Park. At 82 years 0ld I don't go over 100 mph when road conditions allow.

In Guatemala I had a Honda Bushlander... still very dear to my heart though I had to sell it before I came home:

Tooling all over the country (ALL over) for Habitat for Humanity led to some interesting situations:

And some normal ones:

Now in the summer it's this (sorry for none of my photos... the bike is in the garage. This one came from coolzig.com):

In the winter it's my '05 Explorer:

I thought this would be about bikes only. This is my '12 Tundra 4X. Got it muddy up in Big Bear 3 weeks ago. Was rear-ended at 1300 miles, this is the after photos when i got it back from the body shop.

Don't have pics of my '03 Tundra 2x. Kept it because it's mechanically a gem, reliable, and don't cost me anything now.

Nice looking setup with the R1150R. Interesting combination of Hannigan fairing and adventure side cases. I bet you've had some fun with that.
You might not have noticed the GS suspension with 3-1/2" of lift to provide clearance for the side cases.
It has seen both Key West and Prudhoe Bay.

How do you like Honda's take on the GS?
That's not really what it is. It is a stylized budget commuter that I am turning into a lightweight long-distance bike.
With 70 mpg and brick-like dependability, I think it will do well.

Rescued this 1997 ex-Police Road King a few years ago. After some TLC and a bit of cash , it looks and runs a heck of a lot better than the day I brought it home. Great comfort , brakes and handling , it's become my daily beater.

Retired from being my daily driver after 20-some years , my 1968 FLH Electra-Glide now sees special occasion use. (Those "anti-stop" drum brakes were gonna get us killed!)

And when I'm feeling like getting in trouble , still got my 1950(!) 96in , 5sp stroker Panhead chopper!

And 4 all other occasions,
