I alternate between a 637-1, 640-1, for j frame carry, and the M&P shield 2.0 9mm.

I've carried a M&P 9c for the past several years. But lately I've been going to my newly purchased 9mm Shield. Neither has anything other than use on em.

Both are carried in Foxx IWB holsters

In order of most frequently carried:

.45 Shield 3.3" - Apex thin blue line duty/carry trigger, TFO fiber-optic/night sights.

9mm Shield 1.0 3.1" - Apex duty/carry trigger, TFO fiber-optic/night sights, Apex low profile LCI, magazine disconnect delete, Talon grip wrap (This is also my IDPA BUG gun)

M&P M2.0 9mm compact 4" - TFO Fiber-optic/night sights.

Carried a Smith pc 9mm Shield with talon grip tape, arachnigrip, apex flat faced trigger, Trijicon night sights, tlr 6, and a +2 magguts magazine. That one is now in the pouch on the side of my recliner. My current edc is my Shield m&p 2.0 PCs 9mm 4" with the supplied red dot. Going too add the apex trigger. Seventy five year old eyes need all the help they can get. It's accurate and fast.

Now, since I got it and have shot it enough, a 2.0 Sub-compact. This still alternates frequently with the 2.0 Compact. Maybe, 10% of the time, if those are too bulky, I will switch to a Shield (mostly my 2.0 PC). Usually they sit in an AIWB from Keeper's Concealment atop a leather A&G gun belt, and always with a spare mag, flashlight, knife, and tourniquet!

Mine for the last 5 yrs or so has been a Shield 1.0 9mm, Apex sear, TFO sights and Talon grips, carried owb.
Ordered a Stealth Gear appendix for it over Black Friday. Hasn't come in yet, can't wait!

Carried the Shield 9mm since they first came out.
Saw a need for more Whup-A** and found a 40S&W..
Promptly changed it to 357sig[best of the bunch IMHO]

Went from a Taurus 856 UL (6 rounds of Winchester Ranger Bonded 130gr +P or Speer Gold Dot 135gr +P) to a S&W M&P 9mm EZ. (HST 124gr or Speer Gold Dot 124gr) in a Vedder AIWB
holster.

UPDATE: I got an M&P 380 end of January. I usually carry the 380
now with Precision One 90gr XTP-jhp In a Vedder AIWB holster.

For right now, I'm back to carrying my Shield 45PC in a Tucker and Byrd SH1 (summer special type holster). My other carry is a 686+ 3" in a Wright Leather Works Banshee IWB holster. At some point, I'll break down and get a Milt Sparks SSII for that one as well. I'll go back to 1911's instead of the Shield around late spring.

My new EDC is a 45 Shield. Bought it on a whim and found it to be one of the most accurate and comfortable guns to shoot that I have. For me, this is the "one". Hot summer is still my 380 Bodyguard.

S&W M&P Shield 9 2.0

Shield 9mm 2.0. No mods. Carry in a 1791 IWB holster. Actually sometimes alternate with my father's old 1967 .380 PPK which he carried for years prior to his passing. Love the feel of that little PPK in my hand, perhaps nostalgia, but I totally get why he liked it.

I typically use an M&P BG380 or PC 642 Talo. I have larger S&W pistols and revolvers, but they see limited carry because I usually opt for a competitor's very small double-stack 9mm when not pocket carrying.

I have several to choose from, but they fall into one of 3 categories: striker-fired semi, J-frame, or S&W 3rd Gen. Now and then I put one or two back in the safe and bring something else out. No rhyme or reason, just whatever looks good that day.

My 39 and 2 mags. Try not to switch around guns, If SHT hits Its going to be muscle memory. Dont want to have to think about it.

EDC, 9mm Shield. Hyve Tech Monarch trigger (best money I ever spent). Otherwise stock (unless you count the 7-to-8 basepad).

OC (Occasional Carry), STI Guardian 1911 or Ruger #6715. But probably 10 months out of 12, it's the Shield.

For the last few years my EDC has been a PC .40 Shield with TFO's and a TRL-6. Recently I got a Remsport 9mm barrel for it..
Now that I again have a .45 Shield I am carrying it more than the PC 40/9.
It also got TFO's ( and a NDZ real slide cover ).

I just switched from my Gen 1 Shield 9 mm to a 2.0 subcompact 9 mm. I have the Apex trigger in the Shield and Big Dot sights plus Talon grips.
During the summer I often carry a 642 or a 640 Pro. I tried to love the Sig P365
