Always carry the Weigand custom 642 shown in my avatar. Sometimes as primary, sometimes as BUG. Lately, I have been shooting a 9EZ Shield to evaluate as a primary. Currently, the Weigand custom 642 is my usual primary with a Magnaport custom 342 as BUG. Due to several years of chemo & a stem cell transplant, my upper body strength is pretty weak. I am having to rethink more than 45 yrs of CCW experience. The good news: scans are clean!!!!
My first carry was a Colt Mustang Pocketlite 380, then when the M&P Shield came out I bought a 9mm & carried I then went back to 380. I'm now with a M&P Bodyguard 380 which I feel is a excellent choice.

.380 Body Guard in a Wright Predator [owb] or Vedder Pocket Locker. Robar NP3+ finish, Hogue Beaver Tail. if i'm feeling like a Bad A** i carry H&K P2000sk 9mm in Wright Predator.

For me 90% of the time it's a shield 2.0 9mm bone stock. It's eaten everything I've put through it. I sometimes change things up with my 2.0 subcompact or my cz p-07 but most of the time the shield is just too comfortable to change.

Depending on how I feel - how I am dressed - and how much weight I want to carry:
M&P Shield 9mm with the 7 round mag
S&W 642 38 spl
Glock 19 9mm with 15 round mag
IMHO, the Shield is the best compromise between weight, concealment, and capacity. And the little pistol is easy to shoot well - as is the Glock. There is some additional skill required to shoot a 642 well.

It's called a NeoMag. This one is the Medium Extended Clip model for 9mm/.40/.357SIG with extended mags. I keep it weakside front pocket.

My EDC pistol is a brand new S&W M&P 2.0 compact 4" bbl. in 40 S&W.
Before this pistol I carried a S&W Shield in 9mm.

Interesting.
I have the Shield 9 v1 and I am hot on the trail of a used M&P 2.0 full size for $300.
How do you like carrying the 2.0 as a CC?
