If I am out and about, I will try and find a "Family" bathroom.
They are usually single bathrooms for parents to take kids.
They usually have a changing table and a sink in there.
If I can't find a "Family" bathroom, I will look for a handicap stall.
They sometimes have a changing table and a sink.
Some even have a toilet with a tank.
Just make sure to remember to take your gun.

I meant no offence I've just heard too many stories of people who never forgot their gun in the stall...... until they did.

I guess I am lucky that I am so "regular". Right after breakfast I hit the porcelain thrown and I am good all day. I eat breakfast at home, but if I am away I go back to my hotel room after breakfast to take care of business. I think the last time I had to use a public restroom to drop a deuce was 40 years ago.

Ankle holster for me. Never an issue.

When pocket carrying (95% of the time), there is no issue with using the stall. If carrying OWB, I just keep my pants pulled higher on my legs, or transfer the gun to the inside crotch area of my pants while the business transaction is occurring- kinda hard to forget about there as well.

Well in order to remain tacticoolly prepared I hold the gun in one hand trained on the door and handle everything else with the other hand while humming an action theme...

Seriously, I just use the pressure of my legs to keep the gun vertically inclined and in the holster. I am a little more attentive when there are others conducting the process of elimination nearby. If the other person seeing it is an issue where tattle tailing or a gun grab could occur: hang it on the door. If you can't remember your gun, you aren't responsible enough to carry it. Forget how dangerous it is, or how disorganized it is. The darned thing cost good money and your Momma raised you better than to leave expensive things lying around. Always check your rates before moving out. Simple enough.

My position exactly. BTDT and don't worry about it. NDs and forgetting it happen when you unholster and put it anywhere. Less handling the better.

I especially frown on utilizing the coat hook as a weapon storage device. There are several stories about such a set-up becoming a pinwheel of excitement due to the hook and trigger developing a self-perpetuating relationship, much to the chagrin of other bathroom patrons.

Nature can issue a subpoena if she wishes. My gun stays in its holster in my right front pocket. Accessible in the extremely unlikely event that some miscreant wants to take advantage of my temporary indisposition, and invisible to anyone looking under the stall for other reasons.

Rarely a problem in any case.
