When Single what was your "Chick Magnet"

Either my Motorcycle, guitar, banjo, canoe or van helped start a few conversations. They seem to love to ride a motorcycle or hear ya sing them a romantic song on the guitar. The banjo or van with a bed in the back often scared them away as much as they made them interested. Hee, hee. A canoe ride was always a welcome adventure as an excuse for a date.

An old timer, to me back then anyway, told me they pick up just as fast in a pickup truck. Had a '77 Chevy 4X 3/4 ton and he was right, meaning same rate of rejections. As much as I like my Tundra, I'd trade it for a 77 Chevy like that one even up.

1939 Ford Convertible. '46 Merc engine.3/4 cam, headers & pipes, light flywheel & Auburn clutch. Fender skirts & Cadilac hubcaps. A real screamer but ticket bait. Had to trade it in before I lost my drivers licence. Bought a '54 Ford F-100, V-8 with overdrive. $1988 bucks out the door. Got $596 for my '39. Funny thing is I had the same amount of girl friends.
