Where are all the 25 round mags???

Hey guys, this is my first post but Ive been lurking for awhile. I figured Id introduce myself here because the 15-22 is the only S&W I currently own. So, HI!

Now my issue. I ordered some 25 round mags well over a month ago, at the time they did'nt say they were on back order but as soon as I recieved my order confirmation that's when it said they were. It said approximate arrival date would be the 25th (of April), well on the 25th I get an email stating they're still not available and the approximate arrival date is the 25th (of May). I emailed them (frustrated as you can imagine) and asked what's going to happen on the 25th of May I'll get another email saying the 25th of June? They said they're very sorry, we take this serious, blah, blah, f'n blah. So Ive started looking EVERYWHERE for 25 round mags and no one seems to have ANY in stock! Where are they all? S&W continues to sell 15-22's with one included with each gun so they're being made, why are they not getting out to the public? I have ONE 25 round mag to fire off, then I sit and reload while my wife continues to plug away at our targets with her 5 25 round mags for her Ruger 10/22. Its annoying as hell because I dont want 10 round mags (that does'nt seem like much of a solution) and 25 round mags are perfectly legal here. So does anyone know what's up?

On a similar note, these 10 round long mags, can they easily be converted (back?) to a 25 round mag?

Ditto,, I got 4 from 44mag and received them 3 days later in nc.
 
1 gun shop near me had them for $23 each,called 4 others and was told didn't have any and was waiting for them to come in....ordered 3 from 44 mag.com on thursday and received an email friday that they were shipped..even with the $5 shipping charge they were cheaper then the local shops....can't wait till they get here.. : )
 
Ive tried EVERY local shop, plus the online biggies, Midway, Cabelas, Brownells, Bass Pro, etc, etc. I never heard of this 44mag place until I registered here, if they were on back order there they would say that somewhere on the screen, right? Its not one of those stores where you assume all is cool, then you get an invoice that says they're on B.O. is it? If they have have them, I am forever indebt to you guys I have been dying to start shooting the hell out of my gun like it was made to do!

edit, well nevermind I just saw the 100+ available!
 
Well I just placed my order for an additional 4 mags which will round out my gun carrier nicely. Including the mag I have, 125 rounds down range before reloading sounds SOOOOO much better then just 25. Now I can not only keep up with my wife I can beat her too...well not beat her...just out gun her. Thanks to all that actually gave an answer as to where I could order my needed mags, it was VERY much appreciated.

See and I thought I said that when I said, "Thanks to all that actually gave an answer as to where I could order my needed mags..." lol, but Im new so I played nice.:rolleyes: You never know how people take things, or how they look upon noobies saying it.
 
I just ordered 2 from 44 mag today. About the blue 10 round mags yes you can take a long screw driver and a hammer and knock out the limit pin. You will have to remove the spring to do so. I just did it to my 10 round mag last night. It only took about 3 firm hits and it bends and falls out the mag.

I am jealous! Just got my rifle and you are right one magazine will not cut it. Got them from my LGS for $22 a piece bought all 4 that they had but I am going to need more that is for sure.
 
I went out with 575 rds loaded... still had ta load 225 more in the field

RUFF problem ta have......

SUCH retarded Fun........

LOT worse things we can do with our time and $$$$$... i choose THIS

Haha that was awesome, Stavman. I've owned my rifle since Nov. 2011 and I haven't been able to shoot faster than controlled doubles(because of range rules). I need to at least dump a mag sometime soon :) The one & only time I've been on BLM land, I forgot all of my 15-22 magazines!
 
I may be changing my vote when it comes to where I buy my mags.
Iv been on the MidWay bandwaggon for a while now. 44mag has had then in stock for the past two months while MidWay want me to "back order' them

"Back order" = Order now while the item is "out of stock"
Oh BTW, those "Discount Codes" that people love so much and originally brought us your business.... Yeah, you cant use those on "Back order" items

44MAG is getting my order this time. Im sick of waiting!
