Where Are The Ladies

I'm here !!!

I have not actually contributed any input (being too much of a newbie), but have benefited greatly from reading so many informative and charming posts. I guess that makes me some sort of female lurker

Just wanted to check in and let you know that at least I am out here.

Your being here and your service to your community are enough of a contribution.

This is a great place. Don't be afraid to ask questions or share your feelings. Sometimes it's nice to hear the female perspective on things.;)

Besides, I'm stuck here with all these old curmudgeons!!

It would be nice to hear the opinions and knowledge (and I know there's plenty) of women.I think it's like real life though, lots of grumpy old poops with strong opinions and residual testosterone harrumphing their way along. At least that describes me.

There are several members of the fairer sex who bless us with their input from time to time. Some are very knowledgable, and all seem to have good manners. JMHO-YMMV............

I haven't seen much from the female members of the forum. I miss their input. Where are you?

I am also here !!!

I have been keeping up with my thread reading but not so much with my female input.....
So, I decided that one of my new year's resolutions is to be more active in the forum, post more comments and photos, and let you all know that in fact there are some gun loving women in Southern California.

I am sure most of you have never even seen my name or read the few comments I've made. That's ok. I have a pretty sarcastic sense of humor and sorry, No chocolate cake or cookie's recipes.....

So what you're saying is we need some...curmudgeonettes? That would be cool.:D

Oh you fit right in! I think, particularly, because nobody can figure out your name!:D. Should I just call you MA?

I am here. I do not just make a point of being a female because some folks tend to get nervous about such things. But now that I am out of the closet, so to speak, I'll admit that I'm not posting as much because I'm back in school! I'm teaching part time and working on a doctorate.

Just don't have enough time to go shooting, and the snowfall messed up my free time.

Oh, another thought--don't forget the special ladies in your life this Valentines! A new revolver might not be her forte, but a little something special is usually greatly appreciated--her favorite coffee, perhaps?

oops--gone to meddling....

Yeah...thats it...a new revolver for my WIFE......yeah...

I generally don't have much to say but enjoy reading the stuff here. I'm more likely to share in something photography related and stick to reading about the gun stuff (or being amused in the lounge. I swear you guys talk more about cooking and that kind of stuff than any one I know! LOL!)

I've also been surprised at how many women I *have* noticed here. Definitely more than the 4x4 club forum I use to frequent. ;) Then again, I think you guys accept us better here too. :)

Let us not forget the discussions about broccoli :D Love those !!!!! Hate broccoli .

well.....

If I was to CCW pack (haven't quite reached that point yet), I would be packing my S&W M60-Lady Smith. Just can't decide on a holster though

KTP several thoughts

First: Don't be afraid to speak up, we really do better as a forum with many voices and views. I will also tell you that I have gained some very useful knowledge from being "wrong". Frankly if it's kept respectful, I like to here when others think I'm full of it.

Second: Glaco has a number of purse holsters and both Safariland and Bianchi make female specific waste band holsters.

Third: I was always told by my cousin in Texas "bless his/her heart" was code for "that ____ing fool" as in "Karen, bless her heart, she just can never seem to get out of rain"

Or, "Billy-Ray wrecked his truck again, bless his heart." :D

Hi girls, haven't been here too long either but enjoy the knowledge offered here.

This thread is worthless without pictures:D

Fine, better now??????

My favorite "gunlovingirl" "Where are you little star"

Misty got in a really funny remark in the other day on Caj's thread about LEOs correctly filling out reports.

We just look like we do because we have a copy of Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson 3rd Edition. Any info we post, we just looked it up in the book.

^^^^^^^^^^^^
Yep. What he said!

Now if anybody wants chocolate chip cookie or chocolate cake recipes, remember my son is a Master Pastry Chef. Of course he'll probably tell you to start out with $100 a pound Callebaut Chocolate.:eek::eek::eek:
