Where are the ladies

I ask this question last night concerning the lack of post of some of our forum girls. It seems to have disappeared completely. Anyway, I don't think I've seen post from some of them for quite awhile. Who forgot to shower?

It wasn't me, I got caught in a light rain shower this morning while walking the dog.

There are times when I can't wait all day for a thread to load due to the over size avatars some people have loaded so it cuts down on my 'contributions' to the forum.

I've noticed less activity as well. I hope all is well with them.

It's spring! The ladies have gardens to plant, flowers to enjoy, new spring and summer frocks to find and buy. they could be at the shooting range working on the ammo they loaded over the winter, new firearms to enjoy.
Could something as simple as they are tired of us fellas blathering..

You've hit on my pet peeve! Some people don't realize that there are people like me who live in the stone age and use dial-up internet connections. They ought to get fined for oversize avatars.

I didn't know what an avatar was till my Wife told me! And if you think yours is slow, you should try my old classic WebTV! I'd click on a web site then go to work. It was usually just about done loading the web page by the time I got home?

I just did a member search and some have dissappeared completely, no trace they were here. I'm in shock at all the junior members. The Forum has definitely changed, and there seems to be shorter fuses to some of the posts.

Tennessee Dixie Girl is missing from the member list. No rumor starting from me I can not find it if it's there, I apologize to the Forum. The Forum seems to have lost some of the longtime posters, or they are posting much less often now. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

She stopped posting a few weeks back, probably after the March 15 thing. Her membership is still valid.

I don't think you have seen me snubbing any members. My comment was because I had been going through the member list. There do seem to be quite a few new poster's here only for the political forum. I'm not trying to provoke an arguement, I was responding to the original post "Where are the Ladies". There are less than 10 regular female poster's, 2 are moderators. I really have nothing more to say on the subject.

Relax sar4937, it is easy to get jumped on in this forum because they did not read between the lines. You meant no harm by just stating a fact you figured out. Sometimes I think we all need to make sure we have our latex gloves on before we post here or where ever. Fact is, with 40,000 memebers on one forum, you are bound to tick someone off and get questioned, even the boss.

Members come and go on all forums, this one is no different. Still, this is the best one online, and our boss, Lee, is doing the best he can to keep things civil and normal. I've messed up a bit and he still lets me play on his team.

Your observerasion that fewer woman are posting is true, I am impressed how you figured out how to do that. Numbers matter.

Watch, someone will jump on my poop for something I just said, even though I tried to say everything normal to not piss anyone off.
