Where can I buy replacement sling point for the stock?

Long story short, I have a Core15 AR that appears to have the exact same cheapo adjustable stock as my 15-22. The difference is the little sling attachment point has a thicker construction and my QD clip on my sling can't fit over it. The one on my 15-22 is a little thinner and I can get the QD over it. So, I thought I would hustle over to the SW website and order a spare and use it on my Core 15. No dice, can't find a parts finder/ordering page. Where does one order these parts? I also tried on Amazon for a generic part, but I couldn't find anything but complete stocks. Can anyone help? TIA

Is the buffer tube on your ar mil spec? You could swap the stock from your 15-22 and try it first to make sure it fits. Many here have upgraded from the factory stock to various upgraded aftermarket versions. I went with a magpul ctr myself.

Thanks, but I just want to buy the sling attachment point and swap it for the one on my AR. I guess I'll just call S&W and hopefully they won't charge me an arm and a leg for one.

Are you talking about the metal sling loop at the toe of the standard AR buttstock? It's held in place by a slotted screw that goes through the back of the buttstock?

If that's the piece you need, you can have one of mine. I routinely remove those, since I never put a sling through it and it gets hung up on things, like rifle racks.

The one that came off my MP15-22 doesn't appear to be any different than that found on Colt M4s, so I'm not sure how much help it would actually be.

That is exactly the piece I am talking about! That piece on my Core15 AR is enough thicker than the one on my 15-22 to not let the QD jaws over it. I would love to have your take-off loop.
