Where is the quality control......

It would appear that you are accusing the whole firearms industry of collusion to dump recycled defective merchandise on the market. The anti-gunners would love to sit down with you and the inside information that you apparently have in your possession.

I will state why that post,
in another way,
perhaps, someone can understand better.

The statement was made:
“ It's also weird that when someone actually goes to a gun store and looks at a SW revolver the barrel isn't canted and the front sights aren't canted and I've looked at a lot, but when someone orders a revolver from a web store it comes with a canted barrel and front sight and There's a lot of people out there that has reported canted barrels after the revolver has come in from a web store they order from online”

I gave my, Real Time Experience, as a person, in a position to, Return, a firearm for what I thought was a defect.
I Stated, those were returned to the Distributor.
What the Distributor did with them, Don’t know.

(Gave a 'possible', reason, biased on my Personal Observed Reality, and experience, biased on the question posted)

AND that was the actions of MANY Dealers around.
As we did NOT, consider another Gun Shop, ‘competition’.
The Competition was; The Boat, the Mink Coat, the Candy, etc dealer.
Because Those places also asked for your disposable income.

Now today, in a gun shop, you look/see/taste/smell/drool/etc.
I Believe, those owners of the Gun Brick & Mortar gun shops, do the same.
Again, where do the items, that do not meet their standards, go?

I Mentioned, Buds, because they LIED to me.
They, (their phone person) told me a Firearm was WITH IN, the Specks,
(And yes, That person represents Buds,
Just as a person wearing all blue/gun/nightstick/handcuffs, represents Police.)
and If I get sent a 2nd one, and it is the SAME,
I Pay for return shipping, AND restocking Fee!
After S&W Called me, and told me, That Firearm was NOT, within their specs.

Do Not say: “… you are accusing the whole firearms industry of collusion …”
Because that is Not the Truth.
It is your opinion.

I have wondered that, too. An M&P Shield didn't shoot straight, went to the left. Three good shooters, same results. Determined the front sight wasn't centered. Wanted to try some night sights anyway, so the slide went off to Hyatt Guns and when it got back, nailed a bullseye with the first shot at 15 yards.

The one that really got me was the 351PD. With a MSRP of $759, you'd expect near Performance Center quality. No. Shot nearly 5 inches to the right. S&W was great. No hassle, no arguing. Said they'd take a look at it and sent a prepaid return label. Took about six weeks to get it back (tech said they were running about two weeks behind, then it got held up in shipping as they were doing an annual ATF inventory). They replaced the barrel and shroud. Fired point-of-aim on its return.

It's frustrating of course for anything not to function as its supposed to, but at least most firearm manufactures do have generous repair policies, probably a lot better than most products we buy. I do wish they'd get it right the first time, but the next best thing is no-hassle repair.

Wow. What a cry baby!

And it should be specs. (Specifications ) not specks. (Dots)

The Ruger forum might be more accepting (bashing ) S&W revolvers.

So quit it.

So no one should post here unless they are going to praise S&W without reservation? Some open discussion forum that is.

Dave
I've read his comments several times now.(on several threads) Repeating the same thing. That to me is bashing and crying.

Hey Dave! So I can't express my views too? Right?
