Where to buy bullets on line?

I have bought several thousand from both these folks. Prompt delivery, reasonable prices, big enough order gets a discount or free freight (I don't remember which). I believe 5 of us sent in a group order and it was really affordable and excellent quality, two different group buys.

Well, I was notified (in an automated EMail) that my x-treme bullets order shipped yesterday. They are shipping it via tortoise-express, and it will be here on the 24th.

I blame Missouri Bullet Company for my fast-food, impatient mentality. They get me bullets in no more than 2 days, so I expect that sort of service from everyone. That's not fair, and I should relax. I'm low on Varget anyway. Time to call the gun club and see if they received any Hodgdon stuff in this week's shipment.

If you like plated bullets-as others have mentioned Extreme bullets get a lot of good reviews. I just took advantage of the current special and ordered some 147's to test.

When it comes to plain hard cast lead and traditional lubed bullets-Penn Bullets are my favorite.

My experience is that after many thousands of rounds, if the bullet I want comes coated, I prefer coated lead bullets to naked lead bullets. Coated bullets are cleaner in your hand, your press stays clean while loading in volume and your gun is cleaner after a practice session. Lots less smoke at the indoor range as well.

At first i didnt believe all the hype I was reading on the benefits of coated bullets vs. plated. Then I ordered a couple sample packs to try.

I have come to prefer Missouri Bullet Company and Xtreme Bullets. I haven't shot a jacketed bullet in years, so can't help you there.
