One usual site says the 20 round Pmags are discontinued by the factory.

The Gen 2 20 round is discontinued but they are going to release a Gen 3 20 round. Right now Magpul is focused on maxing out production of black 30 round mags until demand for them is met. Don't expect any colors or 10 or 20 round mags for a while.

Look finding Pmags in stock right now at a fair price is going to be next to impossible, my advice is go to a reputable company that is taking backorders and place an order. Be patient and they will get them to you as soon as possible, but like I said above, if you really need some mags the first ones available will be the 30 round black. I am not sure if Magpul is focused on Gen 2 or 3 but I just received the Gen 2's I backordered from DSG Arms the Monday after the shooting. Last time I checked Brownell's was also still taking backorders.

Thanks for the info, I'd take baby puke orange if I had too. :D I live in Maryland and we're limited to 20 rounders and most companies won't ship here anyway, probably some law I don't know about.

You can back order from DSGArms.com. I'm not a huge PMAG fan (just own a few) but love their DSG Aluminum mags with PMAG tan followers. They've been 100% reliable and have a great reputation. Can't bet the price.

grabbed this from a local online site

Traitors

For me any company that turns on gun owners and raises their prices because of this scare is as bad as those gun grabbing Democrats so company's like intense tactical.com are true american companies

FYI, these are not the P-mags but USA made by Thermold 20 rounders that I had ordered back on Dec. 30th and just received an email conformation that they will be here on Thurs. the 10th. Total cost with shipping was $13.20 a piece. :D These were ordered from Classic Firearms.

Yes, they are still taking backorders on their own brand. Even running a special price - 10 for $95, and they don't charge yor card until shipped. 30-Rd Tactical Mag, 10-Pak : AR-15/M16 TACTICAL MAGAZINE | Brownells

Now you guys posted that brownell's is taking orders on its own brand...what are they metal "USGI" type magazines. I havent looked yet, just taking a break from reloading to check the forum.

The 10 pack for $95 in my link (that's what I paid) are aluminum body.

"SPECS: Aluminum body, hard-anodized, dry-lube coating. Dry-lube coated chrome silicon spring. Teflon-reinforced plastic follower. Available in Military Gray. Ranger - includes stainless steel floorplate overmolded with Santoprene synthetic rubber."

They can be found on gunbroker.com if your willing to pay the price. I don't plan to go into battle any time soon so I don't need 2 dozen sitting on a shelf. Think before making these purchases, do I really need it or am I getting caught up in the fear and frenzy?

Botach Tactical has my order for 10 20Pmags @ 12.40ea. Sent me a email stating order is being "processed". Then find out there're not in stock.
Said they are not charging my cc yet. Just "pending" the charges until shipment does arrive.

I also have an order with Botach for 5 30rd. Pmags, but haven't heard anything on when they might ship:( but at least the order is in. Pd. $12.30 a piece with free shipping, so I guess I can't complain. I do have 5 20 rounders (by Thermold) being delivered on Thurs. so like I said I can wait on the 30 rounders.:)

Smart man right there. Any high cap mag will be better than no high cap mags in the end. No matter what name is slapped on the bottom of them.
