where would you call home

I'm temporarily displaced in California for work. My wife and kids are at my house in Arizona. I'd bug out to AZ first and then decide on whether or not to implement plan B. All family is on the east coast so we are kind of alone out west.

I'm starting to think this will go down like prohibition. One thing to pass the law a whole different thing to enforce. Home would be wherever there would be lax enforcement and according to previous posts, I'm guessing I'm just north of home!

Pretty comfortable and set down here in the deep swamps of South Louisiana..have all the resources needed to survive comfortably..and the safe haven of the swamp land and knowledge of the area. Most of my family has been living off the land my whole life, wouldn't be anything new or too far stretched.

I'll stay right here in the NC countryside. Not many neighbors and the ones I do have are all armed.

Arizona, Tejas, Montana (grow up a crop of dental floss. :D) Wyoming...

Quite a few states, really.

Florida would suit me. I spent a year in Southern Jaw-Juh (Mayport, FLA) and had a great time. Good fishin'.

I'm in one of the few states in eastern half of the country
that's a big gun rights supporter. Indiana is good.
But if i had to pack it all up and move it would most definately
be WEST. Wyoming, Montana come to mind and are absolutely
beautiful as well as being gun friendly.

I would move to Maine in a heartbeat. Going to get a summer place there when I retire anyway.... Your scenario would move up the timetable!
The folks there don't take to a lot of people "from away" telling them what to do!

Here in my birthplace, Arizona, along of course with everyone else who will be moving here! :)

Y'all might take a lesson from Colorado & Tejas. Anybody moving there from California must sign a statement saying they will not try to bring California with them.

Uttering any statement about "How we do it in California" could be a hangin' offense. :D

Too late for that, just visit Prescott AZ and you'll know what I mean!

i ma staying put in Pa. i am in the poconos, and i have a cabin in the woods in north central Pa. i am good to go.

Right where I am

and have been for many years. I worry far more about the stability of the dollar than confiscation of guns. Retired and living on fixed income with limited resources the government could destroy the lives of the elderly quickly.
