Which gun is at the top of your "wish" list?

#1 Colt Python - 4" in Nickel or Bright Stainless. Don't see this happening anytime in my life at those over inflated prices. :(

#2 H&K PSP - for no other reason then it just looks really cool! Unfortunately "cool" doesn't justified forking out a "cool" $2k+ ;)
 
I'll know it when I see it... (that is other than my grail gun--a Texas Ranger owned Wolf & Klar (3rd Mofel 44) which probably doesn't exist outside the Texas Ranger museum.)

I find that if I look for one specific gun that I'll miss other interesting guns. Most of the interesting guns I own, I wasn't looking for and in some cases thought I would never own.

Edit: Actually, almost any verified Texas Ranger owned/used gun would float my boat. I worked over a year on a deal for a Texas Ranger Colt New Service. Everything looked really good. Guy had an interesting history, etc. Everything was good until I was finally able to get the serial number and it turned out the gun wasn't manufactured until 2 years after the Ranger died. Caveat Emptor. Fortunately, I hadn't paid for it, yet.

Look for a model 24(blued), or 624(stainless) and you'll be happy. The 24 will cost more if you can find one, but the 624 in a 3" would make you a nice carry gun.
 
For me it is either a K-32 or Transition 3rd Model. 44 Spl. with a 5 inch barrel. I know they are out there but finding one a can afford is the hard part.
 
A nice pre M19, Combat Magnum preferably in its original box, but I will take one without. I did settle for a 1960 M19-0 4 screw, N.I.B though. Big Larry
 
High-condition prewar (1935-1940) .44HE 3rd Model in any barrel length with number-matching stocks. Box, docs, and letter would be a bonus!

Can't complain, though. 2016 yielded a Triplelock, a .44HE 2nd 5", a .44 HE 3rd transitional in matching maroon box, a 329NG, and the FrankenCrewman project was completed.
 
4.5" to 5.5" Registered Magnum wearing either Kearsarge or Ropers. Solid shooter condition. Blued. The dream would be for it to have the Frank Pachmayr hammer on it, but I doubt such a thing exists.
 
A pre-Model 40 Centennial.

The model was announced in my birth year, but stories say only one shipped that year; a '53 - '57 would be great. I want a shooter to help round out my chiefs (yes, I know the Centennial is not considered a chief, but it's a .38 Spl on a J-frame, flat latch, from that era). Not looking for a safe queen, a bit of character would be fine, I don't care about a box or tools, but I would like to have the safety lock pin.

I would add pre-37, 38, 42, and a Model 49 flat latch to the chiefs group in the right condition and for the right price, but I'd continue the search for a pre-40.

Been on the hunt for a coupl'a years. I occasionally see 'em, but either I'm too cheap or the owners are too proud (i.e., safe queen prices for a character'd shooter).

K22 Outdoorsman. I've been looking for a couple of years. I can't afford the collector grade but would like something close to it. Several on GB but very high prices and they have been there for quite a while. The search goes on.

Bill Bates- can't believe you don't already have that one, you have shown some pictures of a really nice batch of 44s.
 
I want a 3" model 19 to go with my 3" 66. Been looking for 4 years.
Everything is harder to find in Ca. - Heck, I've never even seen one for sale here!
 
I thinned the handgun herd twice in the last three years...still have a bunch 24+ ?so I think for me a Mauser Broom handle C-96 model 1932/712 detachable 20 round mags select fire with stock....
 
For me, once the gun fund has been replenished from a fall buying spree of black guns, there are 2 Smiths on my "really want bad" list.

Model 52. I've fired a couple and loved them, very accurate when fed good ammo.

Model 49, Nickel, early as possible, with box & papers and then maybe add some ivory or other exotic grips. I just love these old humpbacks, not really sure why. Shot 1 or 2 and they shot ok, but just drawn to them.

Oh, and if I could swing it without my better half killing me, I'd like a Les Baer 1911, lol.

A K-32 Masterpiece with the large ejector rod knob. Two or three are known to collectors, and I'm hoping that there are two or three more out there to be found.

Not that I would be able to afford it in case one turned up.

A four-inch standard barrel M64, or a nice 30 or 31. Possibly a well-kept 40--I love the Centennial series.

But first choice would be the tapered-barrel 64. I haven't seen but a couple, and I like the balance of the standard barrel.

It's moot, however. No money for guns anymore.
 
After just landing a model 625-3, "45 cal model of 1989" in 4 inch I now am on the look out for a model 57 preferably a police department issued one from one of the PDs in Texas that used them.
