I prefer the flush 7 rounder but I hear alot of people prefer the full handed grip the 8 rounder provides.
Also, seems like M&P Shield mags are as hard to find as the winning lotto ticket. Anybody know of any websites selling them?

If you ordered tonight, don't be surprised if you get the mags by Wednesday. Greg has great service. I've received several orders in a matter of days.

I have very large hands and I tend to prefer the 8 round mag but I like the 7 round mags as well. Just a nice shooting gun.

Here's a video with both kinds of mags:

I use the 7 round for concealed carry (shorter grip is less noticeable), and the 8 round for range practice.

I prefer the 8 round mags for my Shield, and my wife likes the 7 round mags in hers.

I'd also like to add another endorsement for Greg Cote LLC. I've ordered numerous magazines from him, for a variety of pistols. He is great to deal with, ships promptly, and if necessary, will work very well you on any issues, returns, etc.

I only use the 7rnd mag. as it is easier to CC and never use the 8rnd mag but I do like the better grip when the 8rnd is in the shield. I will still keep the 8rnd but maybe get another couple of 7rnd mag.

7 rounder in the gun for concealability and carry the 8 rounder in my pocket. got my extra mags at cabelas on line about a month ago.

Like most I like the 7rd (9mm) for carry & the 8rd for back-up. I have an extra 7rd that I found at Sportsman's Warehouse. Still looking for an extra 8rd. Always like to have 4 mags for my guns if I can. Anyone had any luck finding 8rd mags worth the money?

Sign me up for the 7 rd. to CC w/ an 8 backup. I do fire both at the range though. I blew off another 300 rounds without a hitch today. All blazer brass 124's. My grouping gets better each time I go out. The Shield is truly amazing. I'll put up some pics as soon as my programmer gets home.;)

Flush fit 7 round is my preference

I like the 7 rounder for concealability. The 8 rounder's got that mag sleeve that can slide outta place. (When carrying as a spare) Might slow you down in a bad situation. God forbid.
