Please excuse my ignorance but I need a little help in deciding whether to purchase "125 Years With Smith & Wesson" or "History of Smith & Wesson", both by Roy Jinks.

What is the difference in these 2 books?

Well in my humble opinion. Why are you asking the question?? Buy them both!! Don't know what the difference is or would be but I would have both on my bookshelf.. Sorry to be a little snarky BUT.

For a beginning collector, the "History of Smith & Wesson" by Roy Jinks is a better one to start with. Then at a later date you will probably want to add the other one to your Library. That is after you first buy the "Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson" by Supica/Nahas, Edition 4.

Thank you! Guess I should have mentioned I have the SCSW and am looking to add the NEXT one to my library.

My well-thumbed 1977 printing of "The History of S&W" is on my bookshelf next to "Hatcher's Notebook"...Both are frequent references...I add others as the opportunity arises and, like others have mentioned, I need a bigger bookshelf...:o...Ben
