Which S&W Revolver Do You Carry Most?

642-1 most of the time, shown at left.
I have tried several different grips, but always go back to the
Spegel designed boots shown in the photo.
PWL model 320 holsters are a favorite for OWB carry.
I have them in black, chestnut, and Havana, shown 2nd from left.
For a high ride, I like this Black Hills shark on a Crescent shark belt.
The knife is a Piranha. Third from left.
I rarely carry IWB, but when I do I like Delfatti's IWB with shark trim,
shown with Junkyard Dog II knife, a speed strip, and some Cor-Bon
ammo.

Who makes the grips on the bottom centennial? They look like the ones that ship with the UDRs.

These are the Eagle "Secret Service" grips. I got these off of eBay, but they are still being made by the company. Just google them. They re really high quality, good fit and comfortable. Rosewood, IIRC.

Best Regards, Les

I carry a Colt Cobra everywhere I go and usually have an old Patent Pending Titan .25 in my front pocket . I usually carry the Colt hip pocket or Mexican . Sometime I carry a 1920's .38 HE ( Most carried Smith ) or my 70 series .45 I have owned since early in 1970 .

99% of the time in the summer it is my 642PC gun. I absolutely LOVE this J frame.

My S&W 629 carry load is a home-cast 210gr wadcutter loaded with 9.0 grains of Winchester Super Field propellant - 1200 FPS last time I checked.

I carried a 60 no dash for several years. Swapping between a Shield 9mm and a 624-1 for the past six months. Have been very happy with both.

I just ordered a Charter Arms Bulldog so I can keep everything all revolvers. I would also like to get a short 5/686 one of these days for a concealable belt gun.

I most often carry a (gasp!) Glockenspiel Gen4 19... that said, a 442-3 in a Galco Horsehide pocket holster is a constant and reliable friend of 12+ years. Its my bug, mailbox, trashcan run, easy to tote, and packs enough punch for most any threat. I have other Js, in chiefs, humpbacks, centennial, steel, space age alloys and such. That trusty 442 is still my favorite. It was my first of many j frames, wont be the last either, but it'll be with me till I am no longer able to use it...
