WHISKEY

ForvAmerican whiskey I like Bookers wheni can afford it, Makers most days, and the occasional Turkey. For Scots make mine MacCallan (any flavor) or Bowmore. For a blend, Famouse Grouse is drinkable. Neat......

Single Barrel Jack is my favorite and on occasion will drink Woodford's Reserve or Blanton's. If at a friends house or Restaurant and those are not available, good ol' Jack #7 is always a great standard.

I would recommend going to Utube and search for Ralphies whisky review 250+ reviews of whisky many very small runs of single malts

That's the problem I found. I used to be happy with Dewars and Johnnie Walker, then I tried single malts. Then I tried the Islay's, it's all downhill. For bourbon, Jack Daniels was great, then I tried Woodford and Blanton's...

I honestly didn't know Jack Daniels bottled a bourbon.

If their charcoal Old No.7 was the only spirits to be had, I'd just do without.

I think its actually TN whiskey, but I've a habit of lumping it in with bourbon. Haven't had it in years though.

Although the product generally meets the regulatory criteria for classification as a straight bourbon, the company disavows this classification and markets it simply as Tennessee whiskey rather than as Tennessee bourbon.

Not to be argumentative, but regular Jack Daniels ain't bourbon to me.

I ain't ever met a true bourbon that wasn't drinkable. Charcoal filtered Jack Daniels may be popular with many, for me it ain't fit for human consumption.

I still have the bottle my father drank out of the day I came into his world (1952):
Paddy Blended Irish Whisky, Product of Ireland, Distilled and Blended by Cork Distilleries Co. Ltd. Cork, Ireland
10 Years Old The "Paddy Brand"
Only Genuine when bottled by The Cork Distilleries Co. Ltd.
James Murphy Director
The original whisky is gone but I still have the bottle and keep it full of Jameson Irish Whiskey.

Perfect recipe for when a group of friends get together or when you just want to relax.

1 part Jack Daniels Nr 7 and 3 parts of Coke.

Oh What A Day!!!!!
