Who else on the Forum is fond of Winchesters?

I have carried a 1947 vintage model 70 for 35 years, Deer, elk, antelope, bear, bighorn sheep and various smaller critters have fallen into our freezer because of it. A 1934 vintage 94 Winchester in 30WCF has been my woods wandering "adventure rifle " for decades. When I bought it from a man in Denver, I looked under the butt plate and a piece of paper with previous owners name and town "Fairbanks Alaska" was there. So I just added my name and home town to the paper and put it back. Other than that the 20 to 30 old Winchesters I have hanging around don't get much play.

Love my winchesters.
2 Model 90s, both 22 Short. One was dads gun, the other is mine.
2 of the Miroku guns that I shoot a great deal, shooing a 52R ( Reproduction of the 52 sporter by Miroku in the early 1990) and playing the NRL22 game with it this year and my 20 gage 101 by Miroku has been the bird gun go to for 30 years. Picked up another 52R last year. The two 52R are stamped Browing, but they are copies of the Winchester gun, so I consider them Winchesters.
I have three Pre 64 Model 70s. Pre war (1937 270 Win) a Customized 300 H&H and a customized and engraved 338 Win Mag.

Growing up, my dad's mod. 94 and Mod. 12 got me into hunting. I gave the vintage 94 to his youngest grandson so it will stay in the family after I'm gone. Dad sold the mod. 12 after first offering it to me. Bad move on my part in passing that up.
Since then, I replaced the 94 with a couple of others, both in .30-30: a 26" octagonal barrel model, and a 20" carbine. I also have a Miroku built 1873 in .357/.38 sitting in my safe that needs a range workout. Love my lever action Winchesters.

Crud, just remembered a couple three more.

Unknown vintage M-74 .22 short only. With a modified stock

Model 1897 12g shotgun

Model 1897 16g shotgun

The 12g has two barrels, one 26 inch and another 20 inch riot barrel. The 20 inch is not numbered to the frame. I'd really like to have a 20 inch to go with the 16g but unless i can find a long barrel that the frame is toast and I can cut down the long barrel I'm sure that it's not likely to happen.

Model 12 Trap including a Super Pigeon, M-12 Skeet Model 42, SX-1’s Trap & Field guns , Model 97. Favorite Duck gun model 12 Heavy Duck 32” with solid rib. Beginning to shoot double shotguns and Model 21’s are breaking the bank. John Olin gut hooked me back in the 60’s with the 21 Grand American shotguns that my dear old dad said that I would have to wait til I was paying the bills to own one. Got my first one as a 71 year old. Brand loyal, you betcha, Winchester Winchester Winchester. And the ammunition is great, if you can find it. Need AA Winchester target loads in all gauges
@ $10.00 more or less. Thanks for listening. I know I have a problem!

I have Model 1917 Enfield rifle that was made by Winchester. When ammunition costs come down I'll have to take it out and shoot it some more.

My other Winchester is a Model 1894 that the Custom Shop made up as a commemmorative to honor the incorporation of the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club. It is blue with gold plated barrel bands.

Of the 3 your posted I expect the most valuable is that model 21. People tend to overlook Winchester's Side by Side shotguns but back i nthe day these were very high end guns for Winchester and are very hightly regarded by shotgun shooters. I'll also note that Connecticut Shotgun produces a Winchester licensed copy of the Model 21 and IRRC the starting price is 21,000 US Dollars give or take a buck or two.

Some beautiful more vintage Winchesters here. Just love to admire the rich bluing and wood to metal fit of these older models. Sure looks like a lot of craftsmanship went into building them. Sure pays to look for one of these beauties rather than most offerings these days.

Don’t even like the ergonomics of the Model 12
But the Winchester mystique forced me to get this 20 gauge

The first rifle I ever shot was my dad's .30-30 Model 94. Come around full circle and I have the generic Ted Williams (Win. made for Sears, slightly less money) in .30-30. It still has the mount for a side mount scope, but no scope! I actually found it among other things in my parents' cellar when we cleaned the place out. Never shot it yet and it's been 14 years! God only knows where he got it. I would bet he helped some poor shmuck out and bought it for $25 so the guy could have a few beers at the club. Just speculating. The thing cycles real nice. Thinking about it I may take it out this coming week or so, as long as my shoulder permits me to shoot it. (Left rotator cuff repair.) God, how many Westerns featured the M94?!

I like Winchesters!

I only own 3 currently :(

Model 70 Stainless/Syn .375HH with Zeiss Diavari
Model 70 Extreme Weather 7mm wsm with Steiner
Model 1200 20ga (first gun)

Hopefully will be adding a Model 70 .416rem mag shortly

One of my first forays in online auctioning (2017) and with some research, I was able to get a Pre-64 Model 94 (.30-30), circa 1954 and have enjoyed it ever since. Just range work, no hunting, as the state I am in, no rifles. It's a "classic" part of my small collection.

I love USA made Winchesters. It is such a shame to see what they have become. Guns made in Japan and Turkey. All I have now is a beautiful 1897 Riot gun, and a 1917 Winchester Enfield. I have had a pre 64 M94 in 32 spl and a single shot 12 ga, that I wish I still had.

Some of the pictures you fellows posted are real beauties
