Years ago at our pistol club I wanted to come up with a novelty match for small handguns that would use breakable targets. We came up with the Pocket Pistol Oreo Cookie Shoot. Oreo cookies were set between 2 rubber bands stretched between 2 uprights mounted on a crossbar at the top of a pole. The pole was set down through a stack of cinder blocks. Pretty simple rules, one full load of the handgun, handguns limited to revolvers with 3" barrels and semi-autos with 4" barrels, range 7 yards. Four Oreo cookies were placed in the rubber bands. Object is to break as many cookies as you can with one loading of the gun. See what you can do with your Chief's Special or the Walther PP granddad brought back in World War II. The added benefits are Oreo cookies are as dark as a bullseye, they are bio-degradable, and you probably make a lot of birds, skunks and possums happy.
