My Winco store dropped my X-hvy double roast coffee, so I picked out a new type to try.

After two brews, I have to say is is not really working for my taste buds.
Today I added a tablespoon of light brown sugar to my large tumbler and crossed my fingers.

A little too sweet, will do just a tablespoon on the next go round
but at least it will pass as a coffee substitute, until I find a new bean to replace my full flavor cup of joe, for in the mornings that
I want just a little more "Umph" in the flavors.

I did notice that some stores are cutting back in their quantity
of items by 20-30%.
I will start stocking up maybe, if the items will keep.
Bummer.

I roast my own coffee, but for a back-up, I keep a tub of Cafe Bustello dark roast espresso around. Not horribly expensive, and it's a "full bodied" coffee for sure. Perhaps this would do until you find another brand that you like.

They also have a whole bean coffee, but I haven't tried it as yet. Sold online, or at most large stores like Target and WalMart.

Been roasting my own for over fifteen years now. Get the green beans from Sweet Maria's and use a HotTop roaster. Always perfect coffee, never any acidic stomach or other typical coffee related issues that you get usually.

Never get bored with the same beans as they always have so many to try.

I find pretty good whole bean dark roast at Sam's. It's a pretty reasonable price given its organic, which is usually very expensive. I grind it very fine and use a percolator.
