I must admit that I watch for the Threads & Post by Caj. His wit and humor make my day. The kind of guy you would like to have in the duck blind just to listen to his stories. And a plus if he really looks like his avatar. Do you have a favorite?

The list would just be tooooo long! We have so many great guys and gals posting. People who are funny. People who have great knowledge. People who take great photos. Some who post nearly everyday. Some that post infrequently and , sadly, some who have moved on to other things in life and beyond. I miss some of our friends who don't/can't participate anymore.

And who of us doesn't get a little thrill when one of the posters we admire gives us a "Like"! That means, to me anyway, that I have actually contributed something to the conversation. (besides using up the big monkey's bandwith)

Particularly Bear Bio, Patvince, Swissman, Onomea.
And recently, LesB. Did I spell his name right?

Model 70 Hunter and 30-30 Remchester have some good posts, and Rick Bowles, the official scrimshaw artist for Randall Made Knives has excellent info and photos.

Add Ray in Rio de Janeiro and Cal-Mex, our Canadian ice cream man in Mexico. I enjoy his posts, eh? And I usually read Faulkner and like Bill Bates's nice pics. Add Erich, the lawyer in New Mexico. Good posts, good photos. He has some good info on gunshot wounds, in particular.

But there are others, too many to name. I almost didn't list anyone, lest someone left out be offended.

Because they post so many good photos and historical info, Doc 44 needs mention, and 1 Aspenhill. But they and some others just post in the collectors' gun topics. They aren't in the general discussion forums.

Certainly all the folks already listed.

But I miss a couple of guys who rarely post anymore but I know they look in from time to time.....I'm speaking of "Sebago Son" & "Gizamo". These guys used to post quite a bit and I always enjoyed and learned from their posts....I wish they would come back to the fold.

In all honestly there are literally hundreds of folks here who's posts catch my eye for one reason or another and more everyday.

One forum member that always has a kind word is Erich. His posts are usually very uplifting. I'd like to chat with him over a couple beers.

I am on here daily, 'cause I have a simple life now. I do my best to look at all new posts and read everything that has any possibility of being interesting to me. There are a lot of folks here smart and entertaining, and humor is always welcome. It is also very comforting to have learned I am not the only somewhat weird person in the world. Please keep it up, fine job.

You guys need to get out more... Like to our gun show in Louisville where on occasion you can actually meet and talk to some of the favorites. I'm a bit surprised that shouldazagged doesn't appear at one of them, he lives there!

OK, no one has mentioned Dave Keith, one of my favorites. So too Iggy and Mule Packer. Yes, I read all the work by Charlie Sherrill and Caje. One of my other favorites is that pervert Shugart. Its OK, I use pervert in a complimentary sense. He understands even if others don't. And his stuff is still posting over at the sigforum.

Oh, we have a gunshow next weekend, April 16. Many of us will appear on schedule to laugh and make fun of each other. I have no idea where we'll be set up. If David Carroll has tables, he can at least point anyone our direction. As the sentiment that started this thread implies, meeting the folks in person can be interesting. Putting a face with the names does make a difference.

Thanks for mentioning Mule Packer. I don't how I forgot him. He has, among other useful aspects, got some nice knives.
