I had my eye on this little beauty for a while and had it on my list of guns I wanted to own, but it disappeared about 2 years ago. Does anyone know why? I am just curious.

Slow sales. At the time, a .22lr AR-15 patterned pistol for $450+ didn't make sense when I could buy a M&p 15-22 rifle for the same price.

The guys in the 15-22 sub forum will know more about it.

If they don't sell by the truck load they go by the wayside.

Huh, that is weird to me! But I guess I am just more a pistol man. I ended up getting the Sig 522 pistol instead, mostly because I could not find the H&K version and this guy was gone. For some reason though I ended up having the money to get it right after that terrible Sandy Hook ordeal. You would not believe how hard I had to search for something that the day before was everywhere.

No clue, but you can be 150% certain that it has to do with profitability, versus other uses of their calital--hence "capitalism". That's not good or bad. It's just how C works.

You can still find them occasionally. I've seen several posts in the last 6-8 months on this forum of people either selling theirs or posting up about someone else selling. Keep an eye out, they CAN be had!
