Why so few 65s?

i love any all models begining with a 6, including the 65

My wife found and bought a 65-1 new unfired in original box box a couple years ago, she wax actually looking for a snub nose 38 at the time and came across the model 65, about a year later I found and bought a model 60 no dash when I asked her to trade her model 65 for the model 60 I just got she absolutly refused to trade me. I searched for a model 65 for myself and ended up finding a model 64 instead.
In the mean time trying to find myself a model 65, I found and now have models 60, 63, 64, 65, and 66.

The 3" RB HB 65 is very loved! It is one of the best carry revolvers ever and I'm not alone in thinking so. I have a 65LS and will never part with it. I'm looking for a standard 3" 65 RB to buy just in case my wife claims my 65 Lady Smith because it says "Lady" on it.

I have a 4in stainless,i love it.

I stumbled upon this 65-3, one of my favorites now.

I was lucky enough to find this 65-5 in 3" local here in Penna. I paided for it but figure these are getting harder to find. Came with original box and matching grips. I put together the paperwork and tool kit, she is complete now. Nice addition to the collection.

My two favorite K-frame guns are the 65 and 66 with 3" barrels. I have a -2 66 and a -3 65 and both just have a balance that none of the others have...
