I should be more specific, I'm speaking of a 4" No Dash 657 with factory target grips. Apparently my "Grail Gun." :)

My first 41 mag was a 4" 657. Like a young fool, I traded it for a truck (it was a great trade at the time). I spent a loooooong time to find another. I will not be making the same mistake twice.

Good luck in your search :)

I had to settle for a 3" 657. ;)

Those are very nice, and seem to be plentiful, at least for now. I even see many LH 3" listed. I can see myself owning one for sure.

But my "collection" of 4" stainless magnum no-dashes is missing a 657 and a 681. :)

Yes, they do not show up too often. At least not in really really good shape, hardly ever. If you want the box and papers it is even harder.

Keep looking. :D:D:D

I sent a pm last night with a few questions I had. Then woke up the morning to find the 681 withdrawn. I guess I am still looking!

That's okay, I'm in no hurry. :)

I had to settle for a nickel Model 57 with a 4" barrel. In truth, I didn't "settle". I love my 57 and wouldn't take a 657 in trade for it.

It's because those misshapen ogres called .41 Magnum fans are hoarding them in the backs of their caves.

Too funny!

I found my 4" 657 at a local gun show. I literally saw it from across the exhibition hall. It appeared to be NIB, and was unfired. It did not remain so for long. It's now my favorite .41 Magnum.

Keep searching, one will turn up.
