Will anyone regret not buying gold at $2,270 ?

Normal historical pattern would be - a pause and a step back.
But the multiple problems and pressures active in the world today may result in a continuous rise.
How much? Who knows!
The increase from $2,000 to $3,000 was extremely quick!

I remember back when I was buying 1oz K-rands at Walton coins for $465, ended up buying enough of those and 1oz Canadian maples to fill a coin binder. Sold 40% of them along with silver bars to have the house of the wife and my dreams built. Now, at 3k an ounce, the rest is going along with the Englehard bars. It may go up, but not going to risk it going down.

Gave my Wheaties to my Granddaughter.
Yes, I wish I had bought more Gold in those Good Old Low $2,000 Days!

If this is the coin that I'm thinking about, I have always liked the one in the middle with the eagle head. It hard to tell from your picture, but I always thought it was a much higher relief coin than the normal gold eagle coins. Maybe I'm mistaken though.

Just back from dealer, got 2957/Oz gold and 29/Oz silver. Gonna put it all into retirement problems not mention to the wife, she has enough shoes.

Just for some perspective. We're talking about a 30% profit. Not doubling or tripling your money. 30%. Yes that's a very nice profit. But if you bought Amazon shortly after the split you nearly tripled your money if you sold at $240.

Here's 1000 words.

The really good news is my investments have dropped from an 11% annual return to 3.48%. Woo-hoo.
Sorry about your earnings drop. Gold is up 15% this year…for now. Went up 26.3% last year.
Most of what little gold I've got was purchased under $2k/oz. I'm done buying gold, and keeping what I have..

I don't regret not buying gold ever. When times get bad it is worthless. Think through the process of disposing of it. All it will get you is dead. Better off to invest in things that sustain life. Not foolish dreams of greed.
