Since I've been getting more guns, I've been needing some place to put them and the ammo for them.
So, I cleared out part of our back bedroom that we had been using for storage and set up my gun wall.
This is what I have so far.

The M16 on the shelf brackets is a toy from my childhood that still works.

It's a place holder 'til I can get a 1"x10" for the shelf.

Snubby I had one of those toy M16s. My best friend growing up and I were playing army one day when he decided he would run and jump into a small ditch to shoot at cars as they passed. Personnel carriers you know.
The way he landed in the ditch broke the barrel off the gun. Never saw another one.

I think they used one of the toys in John Waynes "The Green Berets". In one scene they show an M16 that looks like that, but it is all black.

Is that the gun JW picked up and said “ He musta got them or they wouldn’t have left this.” Then he broke the gun over a stump or something?
Even if not, that movie left a big empty space in my heart. I was either grade school or 7th grade. It was an eye opener.

Mr. Snubby, that looks like a good beginning you have going on there. I use these gun lockers for a very little peace of mind if I go out of town for a week or two. They are bolted to the floor, walls, steps behind them, etc. Just a deterrent. Heck, I have a Sawzall and a Metabo with cutting wheels sitting within sight of the lockers. 5 minutes and the guns are gone!
I like that wall…it’s a start! I used to live over by the Ohio, WVA, and Pa borders. Don’T mess with WVA; according to the sign on the bridge going over to Newell, I think, there’s a guy named Clarence that’s 13’ 6”tall!

"Man that was a terrible movie!"
I had no idea what was going on back then in Nam. Only what we were progr...I mean taught. I was just a kid, but I paid a little more attention after I paid $2.25 to watch that movie. WOW!

You done good Snub.
Some of us working class Joe's just need what we have and are cool with it.
I'll second Pennsylvania Reefer with the Stack-Ons. Tractor Supply often has a sale.

Excellent, I like the wall. As for inventory, need a pump shotgun, more revolvers, and a fisher price, Mattel, or hasbro US caliber .30, M1.

That was an AR10 that escaped McNamara's grasp when the AR was being developed. That's why the mag is so wide - accommodate the longer 308. The Duke couldn't be filmed holding a sissy 556! :D :D :D

Oh, and I got a bridge for sale if you are interested!

I figure it's probably over 50 years old and still works.
