How about Smith & Wesson resurrect the .357 Maximum in an 8 or 10 shot X Frame, with No underlug barrel 8 3/8" to 10 " length and make it .357 Magnum and .38 everything compatable.

I think this is a great idea! Add along to it... a 10-shot .327 Federal Magnum X-frame!

I mentioned this a few years ago in the Wishlist subforum, but I always thought it'd be cool if S&W would bring back the Model 12 as a scandium-framed/stainless steel model.

Make a Wish

Bring back more Mountain Guns; 45Colt, 41Rem Mag, and others.

Also "N" Frame/full underlug in above cartridges and 4", 5", 6-1/2" barrels.

Come on S&W, I challenge you because now Colt brought out
the New Shootable Reintroduced Cobras, and Pythons.

Cross your fingers.

Is the wishlist limited to revolvers? Revolvers are my preference but I'd like to have S&W come out with a 9mm the same size as my BG380. Not sure if that's physically possible, but I'd buy one.

Just make more Mountain Guns and I will be pleased.

I might be repeating the reply I made then. S&W did make an aluminum/scandium K frame with a blackened stainless .38 Special cylinder, the Model 315 Night Guard. While the frame was machined for adjustable sights the revolver shipped with large fixed rear and big tritium bead front sights. Very few sold.

I forget if the Model 315 was 2 1/2" or 3". A local gun store has a couple of nice 4" Model 12-2s. If I had buckets of money to spend I'd buy one and have it cut to 3". Its pretty bluing would put the Model 315 to shame.
