Work ethic

Yellow jackets will hunt you down. They know who disturbed their nest.
I am quite familiar with them. I don't like 'em one little bit.

I had a bumper crop of the critters when I started clearing the property for my house. They caught me unawares more than once. They love to nest under Magnolia trees. I ran over a nest with the riding mower not long back. My first hint was when one buzzed me at mach 1. I turned aound and there was a cloud of the dang things... just like in the cartoons. I abandoned the mower and ran like the dickens. Had I not seen the lead attacker, they would have had me for lunch. I made good Yellowjackets out of that nest; I killed the nest with gasoline and dug it up, it was a amazing. It was an upside down hornet's nest without the outter paper wrapper; a series of connected and progressively larger and larger nests, much like the nest you may see around the eaves of your house.
