World's Finest Trimmer vs. CTS Case Trimmer???

Bob,

So what is the final verdict on the WFT?? Yay or Nay?
Is it really fast, leaves a good edge or do you still need to chamfer and de burr it??

They both leave a very clean square edge. I feel the WFT is worth the extra money as the case is held better than the CTS's spinning nylon chamber. The cutter in either one is steel and I'm sure will get dull eventually but will be very easy to replace. I've since trimmed a few thousand .223 cases and the cutter is finally starting to show a little wear but still trims to the same length.

Either one though does spit brass shavings everywhere!!!

Oh, and fast??? You can't pick up the case and toss it into the finished bucket as fast as either one will trim.

Worlds Finest trimmer

I have two of these and will buy at least one more.
They are great, I have a "multi " one does 223, 221 Fireball and 222 Rem maybe, I can't remember I bought it for Fireball and 223.
I also have it for 300 Blackout which is a must in my opinion to make the cases.
I am going to order another for 243, 7mm/08 and 308.It works on all three.
The only bad thing is price. I even have to pay sales tax as I live in Mn Where they are made.

I really think the WFT is worth the extra bucks, but the CTS is still a decent tool to have. Since the case of the CTS will be rubbing the nylon liner I will be super sure the brass is well polished and super clean before trimming. If there was a CTS for .30-30 I would buy one as I don't reload a lot of that one but it would be worth it. But for anything you reload on a regular or reload in volume I say the WFT is about as good as it's going to get until you really step up in cost.

What I forgot to mention is I also mounted a tuppaware container lid to the motor and use the bottom of the container snaped to the lid to catch the trimmings. Think Girard trimmer from the ghetto.
