I just paid 680 for similar from a favorite gun shop.

Try taking a new $5,000 diamond ring into several jewelry stores or pawn shops. I would be really surprised if you were offered more than $700.

Don't even hesitate! Probably worth 2 plus times that - even without box, papers, tools.

I "grew up" in my teeny-boppy years working part time in a St. Louis gun shop/pawn shop owned by a gentleman known as "The Snake"---given that he would gladly, and often did trade a bucket of ashes for a bucket of coal. (While I say "pawn shop", he would only take in guns----nothing else.)

It was truly astounding to see the quantity of items left, never redeemed; and these were GOOD guns. You'd think many were stolen items, but the authorities were regular visitors, and the number of reported stolen items was few and far between.

And whoever it was up there who said the best deal you were going to get was 50% of retail value was right on the money!
