Would you put a Glock in your pocket?

I'm not knockin the Glock, it's track record speaks for itself. I would just like to read your opinion on pocket carrying a striker fired pistol with no manual safety.
In a duty holster Glock would probably be my first choice, but no way would I carry it in my pocket chambered. Maybe I'm wrong.

Would I carry a loaded Glock in my pocket. Yes. At night while out jogging or walking the dog, I routinely carried a G-22. It was what I had. Never had a problem with it. Amazingly guns do not just up and go off because they are in your pocket. No different than a revolver. I've never had any snubnose either Colt or S&W go off in my pocket until I took it out and pulled the trigger. And every time I've ever had a Glock go off it was because I first pulled it from my pocket or holster and then pulled the trigger. Amazing things those revolvers and Glocks.

First you'd have to find someone to sew the appropriate pocket on your pants. Perhaps western saddle bags would work....

I've been pocket carrying my Shield with the safety off every day for almost 2 years and I've pocket carried a G26. Both are striker Fire pistols... my Glock's factory trigger is just a bit lighter than my Shield's factory trigger. The thing is, as others have mentioned, they are in a pocket holster, not loose in my pocket and there's absolutely nothing else in the same pocket.
The trigger will not go off unless I put my finger in the trigger guard and pull the trigger.

I pocket carry a Glock 26 in a soft pocket holster.

As long as you keep your booger hook off the bang switch there won't be any problems.

Much more like a double action revolver.

It is not even close to a double action revolver, it is half cocked, somewhere in between a single action, and a double action. Not like either, in some ways the worst of both worlds.

I have pocket carried striker fired guns, and a pocket holster is the way to go.

I pocket carry my BUGs in condition one in a leather pocket holster. My BUGs are a Sig P938, an SA XDs-45, or an S&W J-frame. If I had a Glock that fit in my pocket, I would carry it in condition one. My primary carry guns are 5" 1911s carried in condition one.
