Would You??

I bought my 65-5 for the same price 3 years or so ago and felt like I got a bargain. If Aces in Washington were Washington State instead of Washington DC I'd probably be tempted to head there to buy this one.

Sorry for the confusion, Washington Pa.

Frankly a good and mature decision. While you may always remember "the one that got away" spending money you don't have for something you don't need is never the right choice. In my past I've spent money I shouldn't have to my regret. Since then I've passed on many great deals because they weren't in my budget and have far fewer regrets.

That's the first time I've been accused of acting mature. I don't know if I like it. :)

I'd grab that one in a skinny minute, Especially at that price. Smith's,and the shorter barrel model have gone pretty darn high in my AO lately.

I'm seriously considering a 2 1/2 in. M66-3 at 800 bucks and a 4 in. 66-3 at $650.

It's been a while since I've seen a S&W revolver under $500 locally. :(

Hope to see a happy ending to this story with pics tomorrow ACORN. ;)

Edit- Just saw your last post and I understand completely. And, Acting mature does suck! :o

My thought exactly, the 3 inch roundbutt is a cult object... The question is, are you a member of the cult? Will you shoot it, carry it?

I have never understood the modern day fascination with fixed-sight magnum revolvers. The 65 (and 58) is too big to be carried in a pocket, for me, anyway, so I guess that may have something to do with it. I'm not a member of that cult, but I'm all in for anyone finding a gun that appeals to them at a fair price. Sorry it didn't come together for you. :o

Not a Cult member but,,,, They do have a charm.
Nope, not a target gun nor a pocket gun , just barely and probably debatably a snubby . But somewhere in the middle is a durable , easy to handle and shoot well , fun to shoot gun.
