Wounded warriors

Much ado about nothing. Wounded Warriors is a worthy charity. 82% is actually pretty good. 90% would be better but some I donate like ASPCA are in the just above 70%.

ASPCA has been linked to PETA, ELF (Earth Liberation Front) and ALF Animal Liberation Front to such an extent that some/most in LEO intelligence circles call them the main fund raisers for these terrorist organizations.........they are 100% anti hunting & anti-gun........until 911 occurred...... more property had been destroyed ,more people injured & killed by terrorist actions of these three groups than anything else in US history......

They have actively sought out & destroyed drug trials for drug testing for many diseases including cancer. More than one of their leaders have openly stated that animals/rats were as worthy of protection as children & people are.............and they are serious about that too........ be careful who you donate money to...there are many worthy animal charities.

Very interesting. I have read accounts of a lot of their money going into the pockets of the people who run it. Also they have set up booths at gun shows in the Phoenix area in the past - appealing to gun aficionados to get our money, but not supporting the 2nd Amendment tends to hack me off.

Right now, I'm sending the money I would have sent to them to the U.S.O. - they do things the right way, as they have since way back. I want to help wounded veterans (who wouldn't?), but I'm not at all sure the Wounded Warriors Project is the right venue.

I gave to the DAV until they started soliciting me every 2-3 weeks. Then I started giving to WW, and they started soliciting me with free gifts every month. They all start with good intentions, and then get rich and greedy. So, I got involved in the American Legion and give my money directly to the vets. No middle-man.

zombie thread pulled up by a guy plugging his website.......

I don't have the best reading and math skills but doesn't this say "82.2% of total expenditures". That isn't the same thing as 82.8% of total donations we receive the way it is stated. It is saying that, of the money they spend, 82.8% goes to the wounded.
The wounded warriors foundation is suing lesser known ffoundations for trademark infringementa among other things. They are also paying themselves back more than they are giving away. None of my friends support them, USO is a GREAT organization though.
