Wrong Tracking Number, Online Orders

Just wondering if anyone has had the unusual problem of making an on line purchase and getting the wrong tracking number sent to you.

Two weeks ago I made a purchase and following the tracking number the item was shipped to Illinois. Last week I made a purchase and the tracking number shows delivery in Minnesota. I am in Massachusetts. Both vendors told me I had been given the wrong tracking numbers due to a computer glitch.

Just me or is this more common than I thought?

I ordered a part for one of my large format printers from a firm in the UK. The tracking number showed that the part was delivered some where inside the UK. I contacted the firm and they apologized and shipped a new part out...two days later my new part showed up....two weeks later, I had another new part show up.
