WSF in the 40S/W

Anyone using WSF to reload the 40 s/w. Would like to try some loads with 170 laser cast lead SWC. Any recommendations.

I tried in 0.2 grain increments from start to Max with plated and it wasn't any better than the 7625 I usually use, but a lot dirtier and more expensive. It got stuck back in the back of the cabinet...

Guess I will stick to my Green Dot.

I get really good results with cast & WSF, very accurate in several 40s. It is a tiny bit slower than Unique IME, so using midrange Unique data & work up to the vel point you want.

The only 40 I tried was a 165gr Berrys plated with 6.4gr. I got 1132 fps from a 4" XD with fair accuracy.

I found it to be a good 40 powder, but never used it with lead. See Fred's comment.

Update. Loaded some test loads from 5.2 to 6.2. All function great. Also loaded some up with TiteGroup. Both were a little smoking when shooting lead. Will have to load some jacket bullets up and try them next. Beware this a real fine powder and you have to watch it as you could double charge very easily.
