S&W Pre M27, (No model markings in yoke), .357 mag, serial number range S101,0XX, circa 1954, five (5) screws , 6 ½" pinned barrel with recessed cylinder. Standard hammer, and standard trigger, target sights white outline rear, red ramp front. Six-groove back strap and forestrap. Large S&W logo on sideplate, barrel markings "S&W 357 MAGNUM", standard 4 lines of text (Made in USA). The barrel shroud, grip, and cylinder components are marked with matching serial numbers. Diamond magna stocks are numbered in the same period (127,823) but do not match. Bright high-polished blue, very faint cylinder turn line, appears unfired. Action is smooth and lock-up is tight, 98% condition. $1400
