He had a long misdiagnosed lyme disease battle. He lived a long time despite his illness.

I wouldn't want to live a long life if my quality of life is defined by chronic illness, suffering and misery.

I’ve always been a fan of Kris Kristofferson and all the songs he’s written. He was a pretty good actor too. He sure had problems with his health and missed diagnoses of the Lyme Disease and took him to his grave slowly. I will miss seeing him and sorry to hear he has passed away. I’ve always been a Willie Nelson fan and Waylon, and Johnny Cash, and Kris and the Highwaymen group. They don’t make ‘em like that anymore.
