In a conversation with a good friend, I learned that he had just recently acquired a new Smith. After some discussion, he suggested I come over and bring something to trade. I did and we did (trade that is):

We have a mutual friend who prizes his 520 above all others. It DOES seem to be an interesting "mix" - an alloy frame, a Titanium cylinder, and a shrouded barrel. I'll have to take it to the range and see how it shoots. I has apparently been shot VERY little. Condition is "as new".

^^ I believe any Ti cylindered L framed .357 has an extra round (seven) of evil.

Yep, it's a seven shooter... Sure feels good in the hand. As soon as I get a chance, I'll give it a "range spin"...

Good deal. I really like the look and feel of this model. Not too sure about the fiber-optic front sight however. Wonder how they recoil with stout .357 loads? Really sharp gun and I bet she's a shooter. Hang-on and enjoy.
