Picked up a 9mm Shield this Thursday. $370.49 OTD. Test round date 10/8/14. I've not been to the range with it, yet. Haven't really even cleaned it, yet. I'll get that done, this evening. The gun is in good shape. Functions fine. Have not had any of the dis-assembly/re-assembly issues that some have reported. Thanks to all on this forum, I knew what to look for. The trigger is a bit firm, but smooth and breaks crisp. No grit. I was lucky that the store had several individual guns of the same model. I got to try out a few, and picked the best of the bunch. :D I've picked up all of the accessories that I want, except for reloading dies. Haven't found them locally, so will web order a set.

Congrats. These are awesome guns. Which magazine base plate is that in your picture?

The mag extension is the Pearce plastic one. It's just right to keep the pinkie finger in good position. The knife is a Kershaw, Ken Onion, model 1660. It has the leek point blade. Been in my pocket for about 11 years.

Have mine IWB in a Hidden Hybrid Holster in a recliner as I am typing this. Also have an extra 8-round mag in a SnagMag in my left pocket. Extremely comfortable...I really don't even know they are there...but I know they are. Going to WallyWorld later to check out some Mag-lite Solitaires later.

Added a Hogue Handall Jr. grip. Needed a little bit of trimming at the bottom. Just a bit. Put 60 rounds down range. No issues with the gun.
