Xtreme bullets: sizing
XTreme bullets... they offer .355 bullets in weights less than 147 gr but 147 gr come in .356 size. Is there any reason for it ?
I noticed a similar situation with their 45 caliber bullets.
Their 255gr bullet, typically for 45 Colt, is listed as .451" & their 225gr bullet is listed as .452". I called & they said the 225gr should be listed as .451" (it's still wrong on the webpage).
I just received my recent order and the 255gr truncated FP bullets, with a cannelure, average .4516" & the 225gr truncated FPs, no cannelure, average .4518". These are their standard plated, Superior Plated Bullet (SPB), bullets, rated to 1200fps.
The 45 ACP 200gr SWC bullets averaged .4516" (listed .451"), also a SPB. The 45 ACP 230gr RN-HP bullets run .4526" (listed .452") & are their Heavy Plate Concave Base (HPCB) design rated at 1500fps.
They also have some SPB 200 & 230gr RN bullets that are listed as .452" but I haven't bought any of those & can't confirm their sizing.
The SPB 240gr RNFP 44 caliber bullets I got average .4294" (listed .429").
As in the past, they shipped out ($5 flat fee, UPS) promptly the next day, packaged them well, & their quality looks excellent.
Now to load them up & get to the range.
