You All Have Cost Me a Lot of $$$

After joining the S&W forum in March, primarily as a pistol owner, I learned a lot about revolvers and how much fun they are to own and shoot. In fact, many of you cautioned me about getting the wheel-gun fever. Well, since then I've purchased a Model 10-14 and a Model 60-16 pro. Even though I'm very happy with those guns, I decided I needed more. So, as my fever peaked to a new high , I rounded out my holdings with a new Governor and a Model 627-5 (see below). I hope this will carry me to the end of the year!

Yes, hanging out on this forum on a boring weekend can certainly wet the appetite. I tend to go in cycles where I'll buy like crazy then go dormant. Then when you finally decide that enough is enough, then you'll start sending one out to be enhanced/customized. I still recall when I said to myself that all I need is just one handgun, okay maybe also one rifle. I keep trying to convince myself that my purchases are for my son as heirlooms because maybe when he finally gets interested, the cost or availability may be out of reach.

Seems like every day there's another relic revolver posted on one of the various websites, just asking for a new home. Then I realize we're simply custodians of these firearms that eventually end up back on the market ready for a new owner.
